WOrdpress 2.5 finally came otu and I’m quite liking the look of things. Much better to use and quickly gaining on movable type.
In other news, my guitar is almost finally ready. It’s fretted, the bridge is installed. All that is left is for the tuners and the electronics holes to be drilled and thats about it. I’ll do that over the coming weekend. Then the last step is painting it. And then the guitar will be ready!

Ordered the wood for my guitar.
Since alder is impossible to find here, it’s goign to be an all maple body with maybe a rosewood or ebony fretboard.
Thankfully the active pickups should mask the brightness and I should still get huge amounts of sustain.
I’m also going to get the tools and then hopefully I can finally start the body by tuesday or something like that.

Since I won’t have much to do after my A levels, I’ll be documenting the build of a 7 string guitar here as well as on the ultimate-guitar and sevenstring forums. I’ll start the build probably in december at the earliest if I can get the wood.
EDIT: Made some modifications to the plans.
Specifications:
- Body: RR shape alder body
- Neck: 3pc Neck through Maple 27inch scale
- Headstock: Custom reversed headstock.
- Hardware: Licensed Warmoth Floyd Rose Pro 7 string tremolo. Locking Nut(for extra tuning stability) and regular non-locking tuners. Also going to have a tremol-no installed.
- Electronics: Seymour Duncan Blackouts-Standard sized. Integrated wireless transmitter
So basically it will be a rhandy rhoads style 7 string baritone with great active pickups and a integrated wireless system. The wireless will be really cool for stage use.

I’m particularly looking forward to the neck heel. It will make for very comfy playing. The tremol-no unit also means I can change tunings when I want easily, but I still maintain the floyd for vibrato and some divebombs/squeeling.

If anyone has actually bothered to read this as of yet (not-likely since I haven’t really told anyone
), updates will be short for the next few months.
Got into Vancouver Film School and I’ll be trying out for a few Australian Colleges this Saturday, specifically RMiT, UNSW and MONASH. If I go to VFS that would be really awesome though.
And hopefully I won’t do too bad when I get my preboard results. I hear I did decently in English and Computing and I hope to do decently in Maths and Phyiscs which were murder for everyone.

Welcome to my blog!
I started this so whenever I go away to college, I can keep everyone updated about me in a nice and easy way. Plus I can post some additional miscellaneous stuff that people can read.
Try not to get too bored
